Deontology
In this course, the logic and the fundamental principles of Deontology and ethics will be presented. Students will be introduced to the legal system, particular Professional Codes and Specials Acts and how it applies to working as a professional holistic therapist. Professional ethics, mediation as well as typical deontology code will also be part of the class curriculum.
Deontology is an approach to ethics that judges the morality of an action based on the action’s adherence to a rule or rules. It is sometimes described as duty or obligation or rule based ethics, because rules bind one to his or her duty.
