Herbology II
Furthering their herbal knowledge and the skills acquired in Herbology I, students will integrate herbs into their healing repertoire throughout the cycle of life. Starting with herbal allies for the childbearing year, students will study a variety of herbs that nourish, heal and support infants, children, adolescents, adults and elders. Students will have the opportunity to connect with their environment through herb walks and garden visits, and to use all of their senses to identify local plants and trees as they continue to discover how to harvest, prepare and use herbs safely, effectively and ethically.
