Life Cycles (Online course with workshops)

The Life Cycles course is designed to link all the other courses at NHC. It provides the student with a holistic and integral view of the human experience (both male and female) in health and disease. Rather than looking at pathologies, the emphasis is placed on health and on the how to remain healthy through the different Life Stages. From the moment of conception to the moment of death, the course analyses the overall meaning of each cycle and its deep relationship with the evolution of consciousness.

As teachers of this course, we will use an Anthroposophical viewpoint which does not discount other perspectives. Nevertheless Anthroposophy, or the spiritual science and its understanding of life, allows us to obtain an integrative perspective on how the physical, etheric, astral and spiritual forces interrelate to produce the best possible conditions for the life evolution and its meanings.

This course aims to provide students with:

  • An understanding of the life processes experienced through each stage of Life
  • An understanding of what it means to be healthy at the different stages
  • The conditions and practices that allow for optimal health at every stage
  • A holistic approach to the various stages and the development of the Organism/Spirit

This course is primarily taught in an on-line format with four live in-class workshops at the beginning and end of the course.
