Sexology (Sexuality and Ethics in a Professional Setting)
This course covers the art and science of sexology as therapists experience it personally and professionally. Students will learn to be more comfortable and competent when confronted with sexological issues in their practice. Students will be introduced to the holistic nature of human sexology, sexological principles, and the related terminology. They learn to apply this knowledge professionally. The course also tackles professional boundaries while giving students the opportunity to explore their own attitudes, values and reactions to a variety of sexological issues.
